As part of our ongoing support to Western Downs Regional Council, ACG was engaged to advise on the quality of the completed works at the Miles Airport rehabilitation project and assist in resolving the certification dispute.

• Review construction records and contract documentation
• Inspect the completed works and assess against aircraft pavement standards
• Report on departures from specification requirements, and impacts on pavement life

Due to the limited site supervision, there were many undocumented departures from the specification. A challenge for this project was to quantify the net result of these departures on the pavement life.
