Phillip has over 20 years extensive experience in civil engineering projects including the civil design and coordination of aviation facilities, management of airport projects, aircraft pavement design and civil design of roads and traffic infrastructure.

Phillip has been responsible for the USD$47.7 million rehabilitation and upgrade of Vanuatu Bauerfield International Airport, on behalf of Airports Vanuatu Ltd and The Vanuatu Project Management Unit in partnership with the World Bank’s Pacific Aviation Investment Program, Airport Consultancy Group and the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation.

He was also design consultant and construction quality auditor for the $100 million construction of the Wellcamp Airport at Toowoomba.

He has undertaken the airfield pavement design and overall design management of the RAAF Amberley airfield redevelopment project ($40m) for the MRTT project. During the construction of the project Phil was also responsible for the construction supervision of the contractor ensuring that construction quality met or exceeded design philosophy.

Phil has also undertaken airfield engineering for the Sydney Airport taxiway enhancement programme ($100m) to enable A380. He has recently completed the design management for the RAAF Williamtown Ordnance Loading Aprons ($20m).

Phil led airport design and construction methodology activities for Oyu Tolgoi in Mongolia.

Craig has significant Airfield Civil Construction experience specialising in Rigid and Flexible pavements having been involved with Defence and Civilian Airport projects and many other civil projects for more than 20 years. His areas of experience lie in the preparation of Quality and Construction Methodology documentation, airport pavement construction, design management and advisory roles.

His focus is on airfield pavement construction and all operational aspects of airfield pavements as well as the design and construction project management.

Whilst working for Sydney Airport Corporation Craig oversaw airfield pavement projects that delivered long term whole of life benefits to the airport owners as well as ensuring the project outcomes achieved the client requirements.

Craig was the project manager and construction supervisor of the RAAF Base Williamtown Ordnance Loading Aprons ($20m) project. He has extensive experience in undertaking constructibility reviews and reviewing design documentation against locally available construction plant and materials.

For Oyu Tolgoi Craig assessed and provided advice about the construction impacts from using marginal quality materials to achieve high quality pavement construction.

He has recently performed a site engineering role for Fulton Hogan at Prominent Hill aerodrome in South Australia. Craig was engaged to solve design and construction problems.

He provided direction over project activities and incorporated the use of local materials supplied by the client which represented significant savings for the project.

Peter is an experienced Civil Project/Design Manager. He has over 30 years’ professional experience in the delivery of civil engineering projects including airport improvements, land development and infrastructure upgrades.

He has extensive knowledge in many aspects of civil engineering including, project management, detail design, drafting, contract administration and construction supervision.

He has significant experience in managing the multiple disciplines and work packages required on an airport development projects.

Kevin has more than 20 years’ experience as an engineer in technology and product development, systems design, and the execution and management of professional engineering and business solutions.

Kevin is a highly technical Electrical Engineer specialising in Electrical and Illumination theory.

He has completed apron lighting design for large and small aircraft, new and replacement PAPI works, runway lighting systems as well as airfield lighting control.

Gary has an extensive CV with over 25 years engineering experience in airfield and road pavements covering design, construction, asset management and research & Development.

Ross is a senior Works Safety Officer and draws upon his lengthy career as a qualified pilot to ensure airport operational standards are complied with during the delivery of airport projects.

Shein is a qualified Civil Engineer with experience in the management of airport construction projects. He also undertakes aircraft pavement engineering design.

Aaron worked client side in airport operations and is experienced in apron management and layouts. Aaron is responsible for reviewing airport design compliance standards for ACG Australia.

Diego is a qualified architect and civil designer he is experienced in the 3D geometric design of airport infrastructure, buildings and services.

Jasmine is the Executive assistant to the Company Director Phillip Bell. She has 20 years experience in Vanuatu and provides invaluable support for running the office and maintain the ACG brand within the Vanuatu community.

Ericson is a Ni-Vanuatu civil technical officer with over 10 years experience in Civil Infrastructure projects. Ericson studied the Advanced Diploma of Engineering at Canberra Institute of Technology and he has undertaken a variety of technical roles within Vanuatu. His experiences span many disciplines including, residential, Ports and Maritime as well as Airport infrastructure and he has undertaken construction supervision, civil design and detail drafting roles. Currently Ericson provides Construction Quality Assurance assessments and civil design of airport and road infrastructure.

Junior is a Ni Vanuatu resident who will complete his studies in the Associate Diploma of Engineering this year. ACG was proud to sponsor Junior in his final semester of schooling at South Brisbane TAFE. Junior is a civil design draftsman with a focus on three dimensional modelling of civil infrastructure.

Albert is a Ni-Vanuatu resident that has recently commenced his career in Infrastructure Engineering. He supports the team with construction reporting and is focusing his time on perfecting his drafting skills. Albert will begin formal studies in Building Engineering shortly and will continue to be an ACG employee through out his future studies.

Michael is currently Duty Airport Officer for the Dubai International Airport SRR Project, a role he has held since December 2018. He is responsible for supervising contractors for the SRR Project’s early work and AGL[JA2] , developing and implementing task-supporting documentation SOPs and method or works statements, conducting risk assessments and ensuring runways, taxiways and aprons are safe and secure for aircraft operations.

Prior to joining ACG, Michael held Operations Officer/Duty Airport Officer roles at Sunshine Coast Airport, Melbourne Airport, Sydney Airport, and Mackay Airport. He was also Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) Aerodrome Reporting Officer /Work Safety Officer for Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Bases at Pearce, Tindal and Curtain, and is a former RAAF Air Traffic Controller.

Shaun is currently Reporting and Work Safety Officer for the Dubai International Airport SRR Project. Shaun has worked in a number of airports around Australia, undertaking varied roles with the airport operations team environment. He has undertaken the airside reporting officer and airside Works Safety Officer on significant airport construction and expansion projects as well as general airside safety auditing and compliance inspections.

Shaun is experienced in reviewing construction scheduling of works and assessing potential compliance breaches and operational constraints. He has a working appreciation of airport operational requirements and has a focus on managing a compliance for airside operations
