ACG Australia draws our experiences from many years of successfully delivering airport engineering and construction projects. Our company directors have been directly responsible for the design and construction of airport development projects across Australia, Asia Pacific region and across the globe. We also have a practical understanding of the requirements for designing and delivering airfield construction projects on challenging site conditions particularly sand subgrades and expansive clay subgrades. Our in-house team includes PhD qualified pavement engineers, senior electrical engineers for airport lighting, airport operational specialists for OLS design and master planning as well as construction engineers and airside work safety officers. We undertake airport facility engineering design to ICAO, FAA, CASA, IATA and Defence standards, as well as meeting Airport Environmental requirements. We maintain a co-operative working relationship with several niche airport related development companies to enable us to seamlessly deliver a full range of services. We also provide a full-service landside design and development consultancy and construction.

ACG is a full-service consultant and head contractor, we provide our clients with industry leady insurance cover on all our work as well as maintaining a rigorous Quality Assurance accreditation to ISO 9001 and Health and Safety accreditation to ISO 45001.

Our team is equipped with the latest engineering design software for pavement structural design as well as the full infrastructure design suite from Autodesk.

ACG provides world leading Civil Engineering consultancy services and construction methodology that is focussed on the Airport development sector across civilian, cargo and military sites.

Phillip has over 20 years extensive experience in civil engineering projects including Civil and Defence design and coordination of aviation facilities, management of airport projects, aircraft pavement design and civil design of roads and traffic infrastructure.

Phillip has been responsible for the USD$47.7 million rehabilitation and upgrade of Vanuatu Bauerfield International Airport, on behalf of Airports Vanuatu Ltd and The Vanuatu Project Management Unit in partnership with the World Bank’s Pacific Aviation Investment Program, Airport Consultancy Group and the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation.

He was also design consultant and construction quality auditor for the $100 million construction of the Wellcamp Airport at Toowoomba.

He has undertaken the airfield pavement design and overall design management of the RAAF Amberley airfield redevelopment project ($40m) for the MRTT project. During the construction of the project Phil was also responsible for the construction supervision of the contractor ensuring that construction quality met or exceeded design philosophy.

Phil has also undertaken airfield engineering for the Sydney Airport taxiway enhancement programme ($100m) to enable A380. He has recently completed the design management for the RAAF Williamtown Ordnance Loading Aprons ($20m).

Phil led airport design and construction methodology activities for Oyu Tolgoi in Mongolia.

Craig has over 20 years Airfield Civil Construction experience specialising in Rigid and Flexible pavements having been involved with Defence and Civilian Airport projects and many other civil projects over the past 25 years. His particular areas of experience lie in the preparation of Quality and Construction Methodology documentation to ensure Airport Operations are not affected by the Construction activities, airport pavement construction, design management and advisory roles.

He has been focussing on airfield pavement construction over the last 20 years and has been responsible for the ownership and operational aspects of airfield pavements as well as the design and construction elements.

Whilst working for Sydney Airport Corporation Craig oversaw airfield pavement projects that delivered long term whole of life benefits to the airport owners as well as ensuring the project outcomes achieved the client requirements.

Craig was the project manager and construction supervisor of the RAAF Base Williamtown Ordnance Loading Aprons ($20m) project. He has extensive experience in undertaking constructibility reviews and reviewing design documentation against locally available construction plant and materials.

For Oyu Tolgoi Craig assessed and provided advice about the construction impacts from using marginal quality materials to achieve high quality pavement construction.

He has recently performed a site engineering role for Fulton Hogan at Prominent Hill aerodrome in South Australia. Craig was engaged to solve design and construction problems.

He provided direction over project activities and incorporated the use of local materials supplied by the client which represented significant savings for the project.

Vashte provides a critical front line service role and significant operations support for all business units of ACG. With a high level of attention to detail,  business support knowledge and asset management Vashte is a vital member of the ACG Team.

Her role is extremely diverse, with a strong focus on (but not limited to) finance, office and staff management, HR,  policy and  procedure creation and management. Recently COVID support, compliance, and risk mitigation for staff.

Vashte provides vital support allowing seamless continuity for all key business of ACG to function.

Peter is an experienced Civil Project/Design Manager. He has over 30 years’ professional experience in the delivery of civil engineering projects including airport improvements, land development and infrastructure upgrades.

He has extensive knowledge in many aspects of civil engineering including, project management, detail design, drafting, contract administration and construction supervision.

He has significant experience in managing the multiple disciplines and work packages required on an airport development projects.

Kevin is a highly technical Electrical Engineer specialising in Electrical and Illumination theory.

He has completed apron lighting design for large and small aircraft, new and replacement PAPI works, runway lighting systems as well as airfield lighting control.

Jason specialises in non-technical due diligence, community, political and country risk assessments to assist with capital raising and investment decisions as well as the design and implementation of strategies to neutralise threats to projects in complex environments to secure a social and political licence to operate. The focus is on enabling clients to achieve objectives.

Jason has conducted field assignments and developed solution focused strategies for a range of organisations in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Peru, Philippines, Jordan, Iraq, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, PNG, Cote d’Ivoire, Uganda, southern Mali, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Colombia, DRC, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and Fiji.

He completed the only successful field-based risk assessment of almost the entire TAPI route for the four consortium countries in 2014 on behalf of the Asian Development Bank. He is experienced at working with Boards, CEOs, government ministers, NGOs, foreign military commanders, tribal and village leaders, police, the UN and multi-lateral entities across a variety of jurisdictions.

Jason is the program manager and lecturer for an MBA Unit – Delivering Innovation & Other High-Risk Strategies at Swinburne University, Melbourne. Jason is interested in the practical application lessons from non-human biological systems for designing security frameworks and community stability with a focus on risk adaptation.

Jason is the Vice-President of the Australian Pacific Island Business Council and is a member Australia PNG Business Council, the Australia Fiji Business Council, the TE Lawrence Society and the Royal United Services Institute (UK). He also advises Australian Industry Group members.

Jason completed his PhD (Curtin University) in 2016 and uses the OODA Loop to analyse Salafi-Jihadi inspired home-grown terrorism as a tactic of asymmetric warfare. He has an M.A (Distinction) from Otago University, NZ. Jason is a Paul Harris Fellow and was nominated Citizen of the Year in 2005 for his work in Sri Lanka following the Boxing Day Tsunami.
